"We are Western North Carolina. We weren't prepared for an inland hurricane like Helene. We need supplies like IV fluids and tubing, insulin, inhalers. The needs will change over time as we get further out and see more patients whose meds were washed away, or who haven't been able to get to medical care due to disrupted bridges and roads. We are DPC docs - we can get meds and supplies to patients quickly and without red-tape!"
