Dr. Emily Holt
of Poppy Direct Care
Dr. Holt opened Poppy Direct Care in New Orleans and runs a free reproductive health clinic every Tuesday evening — providing STI testing, HIV screening, and contraceptive consultations for women who have nowhere else to go. She is a cluster leader for the Reproductive Health Access Project in Louisiana and a graduate of the My DPC Story community.

Dr. Esther Khatibi
of My DOC
Dr. Khatibi built MyDoc to solve a problem she saw clearly: good physicians doing free obstetric and women's health care were absorbing impossible costs alone. MyDoc funds the equipment, supplies, malpractice coverage, and physician compensation that makes sustainable free care possible — and is expanding its model nationwide.

Allison Zimmer, JD of the Lawyering Project
Allison Zimmer is a reproductive rights attorney with The Lawyering Project, which uses litigation and legal advocacy to protect and expand access to abortion and reproductive healthcare across the United States. She brings the legal landscape into the conversation — what Louisiana law means for patients and physicians right now, and where the fight goes next.
