Direct Primary Care Doctor
Dr. Meyer was raised near Chicago where her family maintained a small farm, from which she learned to appreciate organic whole food; the cycles of nature; and the wonders of the outdoors.
She earned her BA degree in Psychology from Earlham College (IN), a Quaker-based school that fostered her belief in treating others as equals, a commitment to social justice, and her desire to serve.
After spending some years in the workforce, traveling and pursuing passions in Chinese martial arts and medicine, she graduated from UMass Medical School and completing training at Lawrence Family Medicine Residency.
In this episode, Dr. Meyer shares about her journey to designing a practice as she envisioned and how she has had a thriving practice as a solo-practitioner without any additional staff. She describes her 240 square foot office space and how she handles safety and changes due to the pandemics. She describes the ongoing challenge she faces maintaining self-care to continue thriving as well.
She opened her DPC doors in 2015!
